Your Guide to the 9 Most Powerful Chakras for Spiritual Awakening
Note: This post has been updated to include the 9 most powerful chakras and new
insights to support your spiritual journey.
Our chakras are our energetic pathways in our body that align with certain aspects of ourselves and in turn our lives. While there is much to say about them, one thing is of utmost importance. To live as abundantly and peacefully and pleasurably as possible, it’s important that our chakras are open, empowered, and balanced.
The following chakras have been presented to me by Spirit as our most essential and powerful. They are particularly in harmony with our current way of life here on the EarthPlane.
While some schools of thought consider there are 7 major chakras, the following 9 are the chakras that I work with as a Multiverse Energy (ME) Healer, and the ones I teach my students to focus on.
There are other chakras, including minor chakras, but if you are aware of these 9 main chakras, you have access to the power of the Multiverse. Tend to these chakras and learn to cleanse, balance and re-empower them, and you will find your life moves much more smoothly and joyfully as you journey your soul path.
Additionally, several of these chakras are associated with certain “Clairs,” including clairsentience, clairaudience, claircognizance, clairvoyance, and clairtangency. The Clairs, which you can find explained here, consist of our spiritual translation system.
Each of the chakras I’m going to cover here are part of a whole. You can have your Crown Chakra open, for instance, and your Solar Plexus Chakra closed. If this is the case, you won’t operate or feel as good as you could if all was properly open and balanced.
Crown Chakra
The Crown Chakra is located at the top of your head. This is a funnel-like pathway to Source/The Light/The Other Side–in particular the Angelic Realm. This is your chakra that allows you to “download” important messages and information from Spirit, such as your soul/life purpose and messages from the Light meant to help you and heal you and enable you to fulfill your life purpose.
The Crown Chakra often opens exponentially when a person is ascending. At this point of spiritual enlightenment and spiritual epiphanies, communication from Spirit is strong and gets stronger every day.
The Crown Chakra is our seat of claircognizance. It is from this chakra that we have “clear knowing” insight into events that occur for us, often before they come about. It is claircognizance that enables you to just know something is going to happen or someone is going to say something. Claircognizance is often referred to as intuition.
Those who are particularly claircognizant generally have their Crown Chakra open to an optimal amount. Additionally, the Crown Chakra creates a pathway that allows us to have premonitions about things to come.
Keep your Crown Chakra open and “plugged into” the Light, and your perceptive powers and the resulting spiritual discernment that comes from the clear knowing can be exponential.
What Happens When Your Crown Chakra is Closed
If a person’s Crown Chakra is closed, that is often an indication he or she has shut down communication with the Spiritual realm. This may have occurred because of a trauma that made the person lose faith. Or it may be that when the person had the Crown Chakra opened in the past, they “knew” too much from the downloads from Spirit, which was unsettling. So, they closed it down to stop the flow of information from the Light.
If your Crown Chakra is closed or blocked in some way, it will be difficult for you to receive and understand messages from the Light. If, however, your Crown Chakra is open, you will be able to communicate with The Other Side and those there.
If your Crown Chakra shuts down partially or even completely, you will stop getting messages from Spirit/The Light. This can be disconcerting if you’ve been getting messages, and it can even be dangerous for your EarthPlane physical body. For instance, you might not get the message from the Light that a person with whom you are engaging is a dangerous individual.
It is possible if you’ve closed down your Crown Chakra to have it opened again. In fact, it is possible to re-open and empower and balance all your chakras. It is when your chakras are operating in tandem that you will feel your best and get the information you require and desire from Spirit.
Third-Eye Chakra
Of all chakras, the Third-Eye Chakra is the most well-known. It is with your Third-Eye Chakra that you see things that “aren’t there.” This refers to seeing messages in the form of visions and visual clues. For instance, seeing someone doing something in the future or having done something in the past in your mind’s eye, or even just their face.
The results of the Third-Eye Chakra sight are seen in many “ghost” movies where a character sees someone who isn’t living as if they were there. This refers to seeing from without, while, as mentioned, you can also use your Third-Eye Chakra to see something within. Either way, you are seeing something from Spirit.
The Third Eye Chakra is our seat of clairvoyance. This is the chakra that allows us to see in our mind’s eye and to even see outside of ourselves. For instance, you may see a person or animal across a room that isn’t “physically” there. Or you might see something in your mind’s eye that gives you a message. For instance, you may see colors or see a person doing something. Or you could see repeating angel numbers or get a message in the form of a sign. For example, a message on a license plate.
The term clairvoyance is a commonly misused term. People who aren’t informed will say that someone is clairvoyant, meaning they have psychic abilities, but the truth is clairvoyance only refers to using the Third-Eye—one’s inner and outer seeing senses—to get and see messages.
Our Third Eye Chakra is quite sensitive. While doing a healing on the Third Eye, for instance, many healers find they need to keep their hands further away from that chakra than when healing other chakras. Otherwise, the person might get a sudden headache or feel pressure or an unusual sensation in this area.
The sensitivity is the result of this chakra being rather close to our senses. While it is the seat of clairvoyance, the Third Eye Chakra is also aligned with our seat of clairsentience.
Take Special Care of Your Third Eye Chakra
It’s a good idea to take extra care of your Third Eye Chakra, much like you take care of all other chakras. However, you may find that this chakra will close suddenly if you see too much. It might close up for a time, or it might just close up momentarily. I’ll give you an example from my experience.
One night I awoke suddenly to see a man standing at the foot of my bed holding a giant book. This, not surprisingly, startled me. I sat up in bed and yelled. This was despite the fact that I knew it was my Life Guide, Evan. But there is something about being woken up by a Spirit that is a bit unsettling!
As soon as I yelled, Evan disappeared, as if dissolving in front of my eyes. At that point, I was more awake, so I cried out, “No, don’t leave!” But he was already gone. I found out afterward in conversation with him that he came to show me a page out of my book from the Akashic records that he had checked out for the night.
Your Third Eye Chakra, as seen in this example, can be quite powerful, delivering to you illuminating messages. To keep this chakra and all your chakras clear and balanced and empowered, it’s a good idea to exercise this chakra. As you go about your days, notice and acknowledge the many messages Spirit is sending you via your eyes, including your mind’s eye. The more you notice, the more Spirit will communicate with you in this manner.
Pineal Gland Chakra
If I asked you who would be best to consult with in terms of your plans for yourself and your soul path and soul journey, who would you suggest? Most likely it would be your Higher Self. It is your Higher Self that is privy to all you have planned to accomplish during this iteration of yourself on the EarthPlane.
If you think about it, who would you rather gain insight and wisdom from than yourself? Who would you rather ask questions of, and who would you like to be guided by? Yourself, of course. For your Higher Self is that part of you that knows what is perfectly, exactly just right for you during your journey on Earth.
Spirit has informed me that our Pineal Gland Chakra is located to the right of our Third-Eye Chakra on our forehead. The Pineal Gland Chakra is not mentioned as much as many of the other chakras, but it is in fact one of the most important chakras—especially when it comes to your soul journey. Keeping this chakra clear, balanced, and empowered is of the utmost importance.
The Pineal Gland Chakra is where your life plan is housed. The only other location where you can find such information is in the Akashic Records where your “Soul Book” resides. Tapping in via this Chakra is also important, as it allows you to clearly see next steps for yourself in all areas of life.
If you are working on an important project or considering next steps in your journey, you will want to consult with your Higher Self via your Pineal Gland Chakra. In fact, you can learn to channel messages from your Higher Self via your Pineal Gland Chakra.
Pineal Gland Chakra and Your Higher Self
Our Pineal Gland Chakra is directly in touch with our Higher Self and our Soul Purpose. It is through our Pineal Gland Chakra that our goals and wishes regarding what we planned to do and learn when we came here are passed through and translated. It is through our Pineal Gland Chakra and its connection with our other Chakras—especially our Crown and Third-eye Chakras—that we keep heading along our soul path toward our soul missions and the many learning lessons our soul wished to experience along the way.
Maintain a healthy, open, balanced and empowered Pineal Gland Chakra, and you will find that you feel and know that you are on your right path. If the Pineal Gland Chakra becomes closed or limited or imbalanced, you will find that you aren’t sure where you are supposed to be going or even if you are supposed to be going anywhere. You will likely feel unbalanced and unsure about your life in general, and in particular about your Soul Purpose.
What can you do to keep your Pineal Gland Chakra healthy and happy and balanced and empowered? You can start by also maintaining your Crown and Third-Eye Chakras, because as mentioned, they are all interconnected. You can also do your best to trust your intuition and the messages coming from Spirit and then take the actions you are being guided to take.
If you feel as if you are meant to immerse yourself in an area of learning or look further into an aspect of your life, that is your Pineal Gland Chakra calling out to you. If you wish to keep this chakra healthy, you would be wise to hear “your calls to you” and answer them.
Ear Chakras
As the name suggests, the Ear Chakras involve messages we hear from Spirit/The Light. The Ear Chakras are the seat of Clairaudience. It is with finely tuned Ear Chakras that we can hear vital messages from Spirit about next steps. And it is via our Ear Chakras that we can hear from passed on loved ones who have messages for us.
It is via the Ear Chakras that Master Channelers are able to channel via written and spoken form. And it is the Ear Chakras that allow us to hear messages others cannot. We may hear messages outside of ourselves as well as messages from within.
Hearing messages from outside of ourselves is generally less common than messages from within. For instance, we may hear our grandfather, who has passed, say he is proud of us. That message may likely transpire in our head, but on some occasions, he may utter a few words that we can hear outside of ourselves, and in fact may be heard by others.
There is a reason why passed on loved ones don’t always communicate so that we can hear them outside of ourselves. It takes a tremendous amount of energy for them to convert their high-level, vibrational energy to our lower Earthbound energy.
For that reason, you might only hear your name uttered in a quiet room, because that is the most that your grandfather can muster at the time. The rest of the message may then be relayed in your head. But the uttered name was often enough, and undoubtedly got your attention.
There is one way that Spirit and passed on loved ones more easily communicate with us, and that is through real sounds. This includes messages that come via songs and even what others say.
For instance, have you ever been listening to the conversation of strangers and suddenly heard a sentence or even several words that were a message for you? That is an example of how Spirit can use sound to give us messages via our Ear Chakras.
There is one very important thing to remember when you are getting messages via your Ear Chakras. When we hear what we think are messages, our first instinct is often to question ourselves.
For example, if we think we heard our name, we may think we were imagining things. And if we think we hear our grandfather telling us he is proud of us, we may think we are just having “wishful thinking” about the message. Of course this can occur but generally speaking when we get what seem like “random” messages, they are indeed coming from Spirit via our Ear Chakras.
Throat Chakra
The Throat Chakra is not surprisingly located in our throat. It is our seat of communication, from where we can speak our truth or from where we can relay what we think others want to hear.
The Throat Chakra is the bridge between the EarthPlane and the Spiritual world when it comes to Chakras. It is via the Throat Chakra that our Lower Selves communicate with one another about everyday things, while it is also with the Throat Chakra that we channel vocal messages. For instance, a medium will channel messages from a passed on loved one vocally using the Throat Chakra.
While the Throat Chakra connects the Light and the EarthPlane, at the same time, it is from this chakra that we learn to speak our truth. When the throat chakra is compromised—be it from being blocked or partially blocked, we are unable to clearly and efficiently speak our truth. A blocked Throat Chakra will lead to the inability to “say what we mean and mean what we say,” leading to issues with others and issues with ourselves.
We have all said what others have wanted to hear quite often in our lifetimes. Some of us more than others. Does this mean that is necessarily a “bad” thing? It is neither. For saying what others want to hear, or even need to hear at a certain point in time, is a part of being a human and a part of humanity.
Herein lies the thing about this, however. It is one thing to know that you are speaking a “truth” for another, while it is quite another thing to not know what you are truly saying, because your Throat Chakra is unbalanced or compromised. Or to not be able to speak up at all because your Throat Chakra is closed or nearly closed. In this regard, it is important to take good care of your Throat Chakra, so that you can communicate as you intend, in whatever manner you choose to do so.
It is from a healthy and happy Throat Chakra that we learn to speak lovingly and with respect to ourselves and others. If you find that you are having trouble expressing your truth and standing up for yourself verbally, it is likely that your Throat Chakra is in some way compromised. Clear, rebalance and re-empower your Throat Chakra and you will find that you become a highly effective communicator for yourself and for others.
Keep in mind that our Throat Chakras when they are trying to open may cause physical symptoms such as sore or scratchy throats or coughing. If you are ascending, you may find that your throat starts to do “strange” things. For instance, you may feel your vocal cords tighten or even tickle at times. This is especially the case if you are thinking about communicating something in particular from the Light/Spiritual in nature, or even to speak one of your truths.
Can Your Throat Chakra Be Open Too Much?
You may at this point be wondering if it is possible to have your Throat Chakra open “too” much. In fact, that is possible, but this is relative. By this, I mean that it is all subjective. A person who speaks up and speaks his or her mind and is glad for it likely has a wide open Throat Chakra. To that person, it is all well and good. To the person on the receiving end, it may seem to be “too” open.
The opposite may also be true. If you find that you speak up more often than you’d like to, it may be that your Throat Chakra is open too wide or unbalanced with your other chakras.
Our Throat Chakras are closely aligned with our Solar Plexus Chakra. We do want these two to be balanced. As our seat of power, our Solar Plexus Chakra when balanced with our Throat Chakra will help us speak our truths in a powerful way that can potentially help us while helping humanity.
As with all your chakras, it pays to take good care of your Throat Chakra. To do this, it’s important to look at what you wish to truly say, versus what you know you need to say, versus what you truly don’t want to say. If you find you are more often than not saying what you truly don’t wish to say, then your Throat Chakra is likely compromised in some way, such as being partially or all the way closed.
Heart Chakra
Not surprisingly, the Heart Chakra is located in the region of our heart. This Chakra is directly affected by other Chakras, and in fact is command central, so to speak, for all the Chakras. Anything that occurs in any one Chakra affects the Heart Chakra. Our seat of independence, for example, the Solar Plexus Chakra, and its health will affect our Heart Chakra and vice versa.
It is from a well-balanced and protected Heart Chakra that we can live a life of joy and understanding where we practice love of self and love of others. The truth is, however, that in the chaotic world in which we live, where it is likely that we will find ourselves disappointed and even betrayed at times, the Heart Chakra suffers, perhaps the most of all the chakras.
The human response to such trauma is to protect the Heart Chakra at all costs. While this leads to protecting the Heart Chakra, at the same time, this leads to blockages within the Heart Chakra that can lead to discontent in one’s life and disconnect with what truly matters. This occurs because the Heart Chakra is also closely tied to the Sacral Chakra, which you will read about shortly.
The Heart Chakra is our seat of Clairempathy. Clairempathy refers to clear feeling in terms of having empathy for others and their circumstances. It is from this chakra that we can feel the feelings of others and respond accordingly. A medium, for instance, who is gifted in feeling how a passed on loved one felt while living and in the Light, will do so via Clairempathy while being tapped into his or her Heart Chakra.
In order for you to be a clear channel of Clairempathy, you must have a Heart Chakra that is clear and empowered and balanced. Is this to say that you can’t have empathy for others if your Heart Chakra is not up to snuff, so to speak? No, not necessarily. You will be able to relate to others, but when your Heart Chakra is compromised, you may experience over-the-top feelings, if your Heart Chakra is too open, or muted feelings, if your Heart Chakra isn’t open enough.
It is imperative if you are to love deeply and fully that your Heart Chakra is clear, balanced, and empowered. It is not possible to feel the full emotions of love for self and love for others without this Heart Chakra at its optimum. It is also important that the Heart Chakra is doing well in order to attract the type of love you wish for.
What to do if your Heart Chakra Requires Care
Tend to your Heart Chakra by knowing that all that you wish for and want will come to you in perfect Divine order. When you acknowledge and take to “heart” Divine Orchestration, you welcome in healing and upliftment for your heart. I can hear some of you thinking, what does my Heart Chakra have to do with Divine Timing?
By accepting and knowing that Divine Timing is always divine and perfect, you allow your Heart Chakra to welcome in all the wonderful experiences and things and people scheduled to come to you.
At the same time, a full, healthy Heart Chakra allows you to be able to believe at a core level that even more riches from the Universe will be rained down upon you in an unending stream of blessings. The gratitude that automatically comes from those blessings causes your Heart Chakra to essentially bloom and continue to flourish.
As mentioned, the Heart Chakra is also closely tied to the Throat Chakra. This is due to the fact that when we are unable to express our truth in terms of what we feel is right for ourselves and what we would like to say to others, then our hearts do suffer. That being said, when we tend to our Heart Chakra and vice versa, we also tend to our Throat Chakra.
In fact, as we tend to all our chakras, we elevate them all. Our Heart Chakra is of significance because it tunes us into what our soul craves and what makes our human side happy. When we know what is truly in our heart, so to speak, we know what we need to do to tend that “garden.”
Solar Plexus Chakra
The Solar Plexus is located above the stomach under the breast bones. This is our seat of independence and power. It is from our Solar Plexus that we gather the courage to try new things and to climb the proverbial mountains that we fear climbing. It is also from this chakra that we learn to stand up for what we believe in, and most importantly, stand up for ourselves.
Often, the Solar Plexus Chakra works in tandem with our Throat Chakra. When our Solar Plexus is open, empowered, and balanced, we are able to speak up for ourselves and to get our needs met in a kind and assertive way.
When our Solar Plexus Chakra is imbalanced or closed or unempowered or all three, we have a hard time standing up for ourselves and getting what is “due” us. We tend to shrink from opportunities that seem scary and even run from great opportunities, or stall so long that the opportunities retreat and disappear.
When we are not balanced in our Solar Plexus area, we tend to have a big issue with boundaries. That is, we tend to allow people who have no respect for boundaries to invade our space, either emotionally or physically, or both.
You may recall that it was mentioned that the Solar Plexus Chakra is tied in an important way to the Throat Chakra. This occurs because our Solar Plexus Chakra is our seat of independence and standing up for ourselves. It is from the Solar Plexus Chakra that we tap into our personal power and from this that we put on our suit of armor in terms of bravery and do and say the things we fear. You may note that I just said say the things we fear. It is critical that in order to speak our truth from an empowered Throat Chakra that we do so from an equally empowered Solar Plexus Chakra. In fact, of all chakras, these two are most closely aligned and truly do go hand-in-hand.
This chakra is closely tied into clairsentience—in particular that aspect of clairsentience that allows for sensing the physical feelings of ourselves and others.
So, which comes first, the Solar Plexus or the Throat Chakra? They come in together. That means that as you tap into your Solar Plexus and its health and wellbeing, you are wise to also tap into your Throat Chakra at the same time, and vice versa.
When Our Solar Plexus is Empowered
A Solar Plexus that is clear, balanced, and empowered is a Solar Plexus that is healthy. At the same time, having our Solar Plexus in such a state is our natural state. Some might think that we are naturally powerless, but quite the opposite is true. However, we may learn lessons when young and even when we are older that teach us that standing up for ourselves—that putting ourselves first—is considered “selfish.” If we believe this, then our Solar Plexus becomes imbalanced and even closes.
A healthy Solar Plexus allows us to have a healthy relationship with ourselves and others. The Solar Plexus is where our self-esteem dwindles or flourishes. Take good care of your Solar Plexus, and you will be compelled to take good care of yourself and to reach for and grasp your dreams.
Sacral Chakra
The Sacral Chakra is our seat of creativity, passion, and desire. It is from our Sacral Chakra that we feel joy, spontaneity and hope and the belief that all is aligned in such a way that our heart’s desires will come to us.
For joy, passion, creativity, and desire are concepts that we can’t quite put our finger on if we are asked to explain these concepts, and yet we know them when we feel them, and indeed, we revel in the feelings when we feel them.
I know this is all sounding a bit esoteric right now. There is a reason for this. Our Sacral Chakra, while it is often thought of as our seat of desire and where our desire for sex comes from, is in fact a much deeper chakra than you might think. For desire runs much deeper than sex. Desire to live and to be here comes from our Sacral Chakra. Desire to feel deeply and to experience joy and creativity is housed in the Sacral Chakra.
While the Sacral Chakra is often known as the chakra of sexuality, it has an equally important task of being the seat of our joy and creativity. This chakra is aligned with clairtangency/psychometry, which is the ability to touch an object and feel and even see and hear messages regarding the owner or owners of the object. For instance, the ability to touch an object owned by someone who is missing and tap into where they may be located.
When Your Sacral Chakra Is Blocked
Without a clear, present and healthy Sacral Chakra, it is hard to feel joy. At the same time, it is hard to feel in general. So, if you are feeling as if you aren’t feeling as deeply as you once did, it’s likely that there are blockages or impediments in your Sacral Chakra area.
If your Sacral Chakra is balanced and empowered and clear to feel and experience, then you are likely to experience joy and deep creativity in all that you do. While creativity is most certainly the ability to be creative with the arts, like painting, drawing, sculpting, writing and designing, you can be creative with whatever pursuit you are pursuing.
For instance, you can be creative with numbers, with the molding and matching and mixing of numbers and the concepts that do come forth with the numbers. Indeed, engineering is highly creative, as are the medical arts. I think you’re seeing here what is being said.
If you are sensing that our Sacral Chakra is quite a “deep” chakra, you would be right. In fact, it is our Sacral Chakra that is tied to our ancestral past and our Soul DNA people. It is our chakra of being.
That being said, it’s important to honor your Sacral Chakra and to ensure you feed your Sacral Chakra by honoring the creativity within you in whatever form that creativity presents itself. At the same time, it’s important to allow yourself to have fun for the pure joy of simply being and having fun as a human.
A person with a healthy Sacral Chakra will be in tune with his or her sexuality and the health of his or her body. It is when you have a healthy tie to your Sacral Chakra that you can listen to your body’s needs and wants and respond accordingly. This may be in heeding diet or exercise advice or in doing things that bring you joy.
A healthy Sacral Chakra also leads to sparks or even bonfires of creativity. It is from our Sacral Chakra that we will tune into what we wish to create and accomplish for ourselves and for others, including the Greater Good. These projects may be grand, or what we might consider small, but they are all borne of our ability to tap in via our Sacral Chakra. It is when all seems good in a person’s life, yet they still feel empty or purposeless, that their Sacral Chakra may be compromised. Clear, heal, balance, and re-empower the Sacral Chakra, and joy and a zest for life and its infinite possibilities returns.
Base Root Chakra
Last but certainly not least is the Base Root Chakra. This chakra is our seat of survival. It is from this chakra that we obtain a sense of security and safety in terms of our place in the world and current circumstances, and even in where we are going.
As our seat of survival, it is from this chakra that we get our will to live. When this chakra is empowered and strong, we feel safe in our world. When it is not empowered or imbalanced or compromised in any way, we feel disempowered, weak, and fearful.
There are times in our life when our Base Root Chakra will feel threatened and may close down or go into overdrive survival mode. Such instances include when we are having financial difficulties and when we are ill or fear becoming ill or when someone means us physical harm.
Our Base Root Chakra can be compromised when we feel a threat to our safety and security and way of life. Such real threats include: loss of a job, loss of a relationship, loss of a loved one, loss of standing in society, loss and threat to one’s home and way of life, such as what occurs in countries at war, and loss of physical health.
When your Base Root Chakra is compromised, you will feel a profound sense of insecurity and fear. This is natural, as your very foundation has been rocked to its core. At times, however, a person’s Base Root Chakra can be compromised from an occurrence that has passed—say they lost their job but found a new one—yet the chakra remains compromised and needs to be healed, cleared, balanced, and re-empowered.
In that case, the trauma has passed but the imprint of what occurred lingers. This is the case with individuals who have experienced past traumas and are experiencing PTSD. In the case of energy healing, working on the Base Root Chakra can help.
So, what to do if one’s Base Root Chakra is threatened by outside influences? First, before even attempting to open or empower or balance this Chakra, do look at what is threatening it, and then do put things into perspective. The fact is that we are always backed up and protected by Spirit.
Could our physical body die from a virus or heart attack or accident or…..? Yes, we can physically die from something, and the fact is that is an inevitability in this lifetime. Where, how, when, etc., we may not know. What we do know, however, is that Spirit is always there. And when we do leave the EarthPlane, we will go back into the loving and protective arms of Spirit.
Putting Things into Perspective with the Base Root Chakra
Once you realize there truly is no death and that we are always backed up, then you can begin to put into perspective what is happening to you on the EarthPlane that is affecting your Base Root Chakra. You can begin to see that what you fear and what you quake about isn’t as bad as it appears.
And if things are truly “bad,” you can know that you will be caught when you “fall” back into the Light. Or that the Light is your backup, and so you can allow yourself to walk through the muck and mire that is ahead of you without fear, but with resolve, knowing that you will get out of the tunnel and you will reach the other side, where you will bloom again, and the cycle of life will continue.
After you have come to this realization and knowing and are at peace with it, you can check to ensure that your Base Root Chakra is opened, empowered, and balanced. Often, when we come through dark times and dark hours and see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel, our Base Root Chakra rights itself. It won’t do so until we are at peace and know that we are protected and loved and backed up, no matter what.
Minor Chakras
Minor chakras are located throughout the body, including in the hands and feet. These chakras can be of significance if you do work with your hands and/or feet. For instance, you are a dancer, carpenter, or massage therapist.
Additionally, some healers and psychics focus on the Thymus Gland Chakra. This is also known as the Higher Heart Chakra. I have found that if the Heart Chakra is well tended to and well protected that the Higher Heart Chakra is not something that requires as close attention as the other chakras. However, if you are guided to focus on this chakra and work with it, then do so. This chakra is located between the throat and the heart chakra.
With this knowledge about the 9 major chakras and how they affect your life and soul journey, you can now tend to them effectively and ensure you stay open to life’s many exciting possibilities.
