Often referred to as the “strawberry lady,” Julie is author of The Strawberry Story: How to Grow Great Berries Year-Round in Southern California and The Strawberry Story: How to Grow Great Berries in the Northeast.
Julie has written about gardening for a wide variety of publications, including Better Homes & Gardens, The American Gardener, Organic Gardening, Wildflower, Family Circle, Parents, The Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. She is a gardening columnist with Parade.com, and founder and publisher of HealthyHouseplants.com.
